Bangkok Christian College
Established in 1852
Bangkok Christian College (BCC) is one of Thailand's oldest and most historically significant educational institutions. Founded on September 30, 1852, by American Presbyterian missionaries during the reign of King Rama IV, the school has played an important role in the development of modern education in Thailand.
Originally established in the Thonburi area, the school relocated to Pramuan Road in Bangkok's Bang Rak district in 1902. In 1913, it officially adopted the name Bangkok Christian College, marking a new chapter in its educational history.
With a heritage spanning more than 170 years, BCC is recognized for its longstanding commitment to academic excellence, character development, leadership, and moral responsibility. Its educational philosophy emphasizes not only intellectual growth but also discipline, integrity, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility toward society.
As an alumnus of Bangkok Christian College, I consider my time at the school an important part of my educational background. Its learning environment and traditions provided a foundation for personal growth, independent thinking, collaboration, and the pursuit of new opportunities.
School Motto: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." — Romans 12:21
