Srinakharinwirot University

Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) is one of Thailand's well-established public universities, recognized for its contributions to education, research, innovation, and social development.

The university traces its origins to the Advanced Teacher Training School, established on April 28, 1949, to address Thailand's growing demand for qualified educators. It later became the College of Education in 1953 before officially gaining university status in 1974 under the name Srinakharinwirot University, meaning "The Glory of the City."

Over the decades, SWU has evolved from an institution specializing in teacher education into a comprehensive university offering a wide range of academic disciplines, including science, engineering, humanities, social sciences, medicine, business, and the creative arts.

With its two main campuses in Prasarnmit, Bangkok, and Ongkharak, Nakhon Nayok, the university encourages interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility.

Guided by its philosophy, "Education is Growth," Srinakharinwirot University emphasizes that education extends beyond academic achievement, fostering intellectual curiosity, personal development, and lifelong learning.

My educational journey at Srinakharinwirot University has been an opportunity to broaden my perspectives, explore creative thinking, develop practical skills, and build a foundation for future professional opportunities.
